Shipping
Orders are promptly packaged and shipped, usually within one business day. We ship from our warehouse in Michigan using the United States Postal Service (USPS). Shipping is based on package weight. We do our best to keep shipping prices low.
Domestic (USA)
In most cases, packages weighing less than a pound (for example a couple Alpha skate tools) are mailed in a padded envelope using USPS First Class, while heavier packages (for example a pair of trucks) are mailed in a box using either USPS First Class or USPS Priority. Delivery time is usually 3-5 business days.
International
In most cases, small packages weighing less than a pound (for example a couple Alpha skate tools) are mailed in a padded envelope using USPS Global Priority, while heavier packages (for example a pair of trucks) are mailed in a box using either USPS First Class or USPS Priority. Delivery time is usually 5-7 business days. The package is labeled as “Other” on US Customs forms (the only other options are ‘gift,’ ‘documents,’ and ‘commercial sample,’ none of which apply).
Tax
Because Alpha Skate Co. is a Michigan-based company, any order shipping to a Michigan address includes the 6% Michigan sales tax. Orders shipping anywhere else–domestic or international–do not include sales tax.
